Jennifer and Miley on American Idol!

Was taking a break from studying (another one) and was tuning in to American Idol’s Result Show. I was really looking forward to Jennifer Hudson’s performance as opposed to who being eliminated. Anyway, Jennifer performed “If This Isn’t Love”, and was really looking forward to the part where she releases her big voice, but was a bit disappointed. It was still a fine performance nonetheless. 

Then Miley Cyrus performed “The Climb”. I have never heard her songs before (ok, except 7 things). Don’t really like her music though, at this moment, but she looked awesome! And she had a band to accompany her; Jennifer sang to a minus 1??!?!?

Anyway, Matt Giraud was saved from elimination! I think this season’s American Idol really has some great talents, and I sort of like Matt Giraud’s performances, but I really doubt he can win the competition though. Everyone seems to be all over Adam Lambert, which is not necessarily a bad thing since he’s quite in his own league in some sense. I’m more a fan of Kris Allen, Matt, and Allison Iraheta though. Allison sort of reminds me of Pink; Kris is quite a singer; while Matt’s really good at the piano!
