Mariah Carey, “The Ballads”

Sony Music has released a compilation of hits of Mariah Carey titled “The Ballads”. Alright, I can’t say I am very disappointed with the list of songs, but I think some amazing songs have been excluded. As such, I am coming up with my own list for my idea of “The Ballads” album, if it were to include her album at Vigin Records:

3) Always Be My Baby

4) Hero

5) Butterfly

6) Vision of Love

7) After Tonight

My All

9) Close My Eyes

10) Rainbow (Interlude)

11) Whenever You Call

12) Open Arms

13) Reflections (Care Enough)

14) Love Takes Time

15) Never Too Far

16) I’ll Be There

17) Can’t Let Go

Well Mariah has a lot of amazing songs, but this would be my list.  Anyway if you don’t own any Mariah Carey records, this is definitely one that you must get, although I would recommend her “Greatest Hits” album also.
